I like a little boho to break up these summer days that
never end are sunny and bright. I’m really into major flare jeans again, a light color for summer, and dark wash for winter. I’ve done some crop tops, a flowy crochet blouse, and button downs with these high waist ones. To keep the elongated look, wear heels with flares, if not, it will look sloppy. I also go with either extreme fits, skinny jeans, or skinny in the leg and then flare. Boot cut = no. The kimonos are everywhere right now, but I like this material because I won’t get sick of the print. This kimono sweater can be worn over just about anything and it’s light enough for these hot summer days. Should I start my own count down till fall? It’s hot down here in Georgia and I have way more outfits accommodating fall. I guess summer just doesn’t go with me.
If you want to build your wardrobe for the beginning of spring/summer next year, shop the summer sales now. Everything is being marked down, even if the purchases are just basic items, they will feel like new when everything is full price next year. On my checklist: dressy white tees (always), jeans, beach bags, shorts, long maxi dresses, white summer sweaters. Hope everyone has a great Friday! We’ve got a full weekend with a baby popsicle party, a College Football Hall of Fame opening party, and a dear friend’s family member memorial service. Stay tuned for my own version of a Rachel Zoe closet checklist!
