High-waisted anything is like my thing. If I can make anything that is not already an intended high-waist, I will. Luckily, these pants are supposed to be. I saw these in the craziness of the Zara summer sale last month and just grabbed them, saw the top, and for some reason, thought they needed to be together. It doesn’t really make sense, but once put together, has a kind of Parisian look to it. I think it takes a special pant to be high-waisted and not cross over the line to the ‘mom jean’ status. These are very forgiving and so comfortable! I am still waiting to fit into some of my favorite skirts, but body after baby doesn’t agree yet. My regimen right now consists of breastfeeding, craving avocados every meal, and lifting my precious 18 pound chunk. The parachute pant look is still in (I prefer tapered at the ankle over the flowy ones) and you can find them everywhere for really cheap! I would also pair them with a blazer and they go with flats and sandals. These glasses are one of my most treasured investment items, I actually need them to see, and I am very thankful I have not lost them yet.

This is a transition time with clothes, where most stores are setting their fall floorsets but it’s still too hot to wear any of it. So shop the sale racks right now for things you can wear now and into fall. I personally am counting down the days until that crisp air and the pumpkin spiced latte!
