I have had these shoes for exactly 11 years, I bought them in college (omg I’m so old) and they are still one of my favorites! They have been on their last leg (heel) for about 4 years but they continue to remain relevant so I’m going to continue to wear them possibly for another 11 years.

I was really excited to capture some pictures of Atlanta and get out and celebrate the blog a couple weeks ago. The weather threatened to rain all day with a thick humid haze over the skyline. I always remember this quote I read in a magazine during the 1996 Olympics when Atlanta was all the hype – ‘If you can’t stand the heat, get out of Atlanta’. Well, I did and I remember why… this humidity is killing me. Once you survive the 500 days of summer though, Atlanta has a beautiful fall. I can’t wait to get some amazing shots once the leaves start to change and nostalgia sets in for my favorite time of year. Until then, I thought I’d kill some time with this fun outfit. Who doesn’t love a tulle skirt? I’m sure Carrie Bradshaw had something to do with most girls having a tutu fantasy at least one time in their adult life. Mine has seemed to last into forever, because I just can’t get enough and I want any excuse to wear one. They are so feminine and fun, and you really can wear them with anything; t-shirts, little silk blouses, plaid… seriously anything. You will see more posts incorporating tulle with anything possible and making it work. I encourage you to bring out your inner girly, frilly, dancer. Because sometimes, why not wear something so uplifting and fun… and in my head I’m just saying YOLO about it.

I would love help sharing the blog, as well as following me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
