This is one of my favorite sweaters of all time. Do I say that a lot?! Well, the clothes I’m obsessed with, I keep forever and just love them. But of course this Anthro sweater holds up through many trends and seasons. (I seriously need to live there, it was such an amazing experience to work for them. It was like going into a beautiful artistic dreamworld every day, where you weren’t quite sure where the displays ended and the clothes started) I love a classic chunky knit sweater, and the feather detail is so different and special, but not trendy. Well feathers were a trend awhile back, but this seems to just be classically timeless. Also two things with sweaters, or just anything in general: I am over Aztec prints, and I HATE chevron. Don’t do it, it’s just too trendy. So when shopping, most of the time I discover my favorites by accident, story of my life… again. But I always look for something that is different, not too trendy, but current, and can definitely be carried over into other seasons/years. I do challenge myself and try for outside of the box, I love to stand out and be different, letting the clothes and outfits speak for themselves by how they are put together. But I always stay true to what I love and don’t love. I won’t hop on a trend just because everyone else is, unless I love it. I think that is how I think in general, I like to stay genuine to passion. So this outfit reminds me of that, because it is classic, but slightly different with each piece.
