Crushed Velvet Casual

December 21, 2016

If you haven’t noticed already, crushed velvet is everywhere. I love the idea of this tank, and since it’s freezing out, it’s perfect for layering. You could also take it a little 90’s and wear a white tee under it, with some jeans. I added some of my favorite layers to spice up the outfit and create a different look. Each piece stands out, but the color scheme keeps it from looking too ‘busy’. The buffalo plaid pattern is one you will want to keep for each season, and the horse coat is my statement piece that I will love forever.

Thanks for stopping by! Today was insane for me, but it’s because I tried to fit so many things in while my in-laws watched the kids for the day. I actually got to get my nails done, hallelujah. I shot some outfits with the lovely Allie from Viva Lux Photography, then drove into Atlanta for a styling client’s wardrobe edit. Amazing day full of fun things, but every second of the day was busy! Now I am posting this as I’m camping out before I load the kids in the car and head back to the house. I couldn’t take the chance of anyone falling asleep on the way there and ruining the sleep training we have going on!

Only a few more days until Christmas, and I cannot wait for the kids to open their presents!
