Let’s rejoice in patterns! There is nothing more fun than a really good pattern on your clothes, and since I’m actually more of a pant girl than dresses, I am always on the look out for something different. Then it got my thinking about how important a patterned pant is. You can wear them to work with heels or flats and a plain shirt, or you can mix it up with another pattern on the top! If you are wearing them out, you can dress the look up a little more with a fun heel or completely different color top to spice it up. Let’s all live a little.
When I grabbed this pant, it was a long time ago (in fashion world, which is only a month in real time)… which is why they are sold out now because everyone in the world loved them. And for that I am sorry. BUT if you really love them, they are actually on eBay! They fit a little high on the waist which you all should know by now that I am obsessed with. Leopard is absolutely a neutral and can be worn with anything, but I wanted to show you two ways to style it. The first way, is with a chambray top, which is a wardrobe staple and everyone should have one. You can wear it with skirts, denim jeans of any color (yes try it), or any kind of color or pattern. The second way is with a basic tee, and knotting it is always a good way to style something high waisted without having to tuck it in and deal with it being ‘blousey’ when it shouldn’t be. This tee went up a level because it’s shimmery, so can be great with jeans, or adding it to workwear when you want to be comfortable but not look like you are wearing a tee shirt. I tried to round up some pants for you to try and I found a few similar options as well as good patterned pants in general and I included them in the ‘shop the post’ slide bar below! (My favorite are the red gingham!)
