Gift Guide: For The Home Or Homebody

If you are wondering what in the world to get someone that loves to stay home or appreciates comfy things, then I have you covered. These are all the latest and greatest items that everyone wants in their home, and most of the time, doesn’t buy for themselves. Or waits for the holiday or special occasion (or Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals) because you can get enormous deals… so why not take advantage!?

Today I rounded up my favorite and most coveted items for a chic and stylish home, for the chic and stylish person. And if you say they might not be so… stylish? Well, these home gifts items will make them that way, and definitely won’t be rejected from anyone’s list. Most are a personal favorite that I either have myself or want for myself. You might not have time to invest in that perfect outfit or might think clothes are fleeting, so you can always dress your home up to look it’s best self! I personally love to give home gifts that are cozy or little luxuries that people wouldn’t normally invest in because sometimes they aren’t necessities, but they definitely end of being used. In my own experience, it’s those things I love the most the entire year because they are special or really pretty to look at! I suppose I’m in a new phase of life right now that involves dressing/investing in my home decor. Maybe because I’m getting older and I love being home, so I may as well make it chic!

woven blanket: this is the ‘it’ blanket of the moment if there was one, perfect for a gift or for your own home because it’s ridiculously on trend… AND soft

votive holder: makes a great gift, it’s chic and the person probably wouldn’t buy it themselves

monogram bath mat: this is a perfect way to freshen up a house, and a perfect gift because again, someone usually doesn’t take the time to do this for themselves

record player: not just for the music buff, but also for the design conscious. It’s all the rage in home decor right now

soft throw: this red one literally just sold out (collage problems) but this pom one I linked you will want even more…

candles: the best candle, in the best scent… such a chic gift

eyelash mug

Nespresso and Nespresso coffee bar: here’s the deal, you probably will be gifting this to yourself or your close family. Now is the time to purchase an item like this, and it will save money from the rest of the year’s Starbucks runs. At least that is what is going on in our house. I think this is the year Robert and I are going to invest in our own coffee station!

Sherpa pullover: this is so popular this year and I found the comfiest at the most reasonable price!

3-tier tray stand: I have wanted this for so long so it’s definitely on my list for my kitchen island, but a great way to help dress up someone’s kitchen

felt garland: the fastest and simplest way to dress up a house with a soft touch. I plan on decorating for the holidays with this, but it’s also for year round. I have these in Elston’s room and the garland is just so beautiful. It’s great for kids rooms or playrooms, or even living room shelves! This exact one is from an actual felt farm and I’ve ordered from them before!

comfy joggers: the chicest way to lounge | JUST found these chenille leggings and OMG – they are also only $30!

artist decor plates: in my opinion, these are the perfect gift. They can be used over and over and are usually appreciated to have on hand. Another item most people don’t buy themselves but would love to have. When I worked for Anthro, these were always a classic and best seller and hold up for years. You can use them or display them!

pillows: another great gift that most people would love but forget to take the time to get themselves. Pillows are a great way to style a home inexpensively – Christmas plaid | faux fur | buffalo check

diffuser: with everyone moving to essential oils, it’s a great way to introduce someone to it… buy the supplies so they don’t have to bother! A great convenience gift!

slippers: coffee (um, NEED) | UGG (classic) | plaid

marble insulated cup: perfect for on the go and not an eye sore!

I have seen lately that most retailers already have their Black Friday deals going on, so it’s safe to start shopping now. And lately with most people online shopping, it’s best to at least start adding things to your cart since items sell out quickly!

Happy Shopping! xo, Mireille
