midi skirt-graphic teetop: Kohl’s | skirt: Express (it’s selling out, love this and this too) | shoes: Nine West | bracelet: J.Crew | rings: Forever21 and Francesca’s | watch: Michael Kors | bag: Forever21 | sunnies: Nordstrom

I am literally so obsessed with this skirt. And this is why: high-waist, pockets, feminine, and affordable (use those coupons!). All the ones I’ve loved over the years (Tibi, ASOS) are SO expensive. Midi skirts are very relevant right now. I remember seeing them everywhere when I first worked for Anthro in Soho (it’s kind of their go-to), and at the time thought that’s what all the girls in New York wore, lipstick and midi skirts. But they are so fun to wear. You can dress it down with a graphic tee like I did here, or in the winter I will mix this skirt with long sleeved lace shirts, plaid shirts, or any kind of crop tops. I would try to steer clear of anything too loose or flowy since the skirt is so full.

The back-pack purse was such a great find. Forever 21 is getting a lot of props on their bags this fall, and a couple similar to this one were featured on Who What Wear recently. This is part of the 90’s trend that is making it’s way back around. Which is fine with me because I would still very much wear most of Cher’s wardrobe and quote Clueless all day because I like to think of myself as in denial, still in my 20’s, young at heart. I hope everyone is having a great week!
