Just another post where I go on and on about my love for the peplum style top! Seriously, there are so many versions of it, it can truly look good on anyone! I have paired this summery one with another summer staple, the white jean. And I found a pair I’m obsessed with. I have been looking for an ankle pant that is mid-rise, but not super tight in the leg throughout, kind of straight leg, but not really. And these checked all those boxes! #highmaintenance

I wanted to be simple with my accessories as I like to do so in the summer partly because it’s so hot, a huge arm party of metal is just uncomfortable. So I will usually do a simple cuff or statement watch, a tiny necklace, and I always have earrings. That is one thing I typically do not leave the house without, and do not feel complete until I have my earrings in. My grandmother used to be this way with her eyebrows…

Speaking of accessories, I cannot get enough of this watch. And the funny thing is, everywhere I go, someone comments on it! I definitely didn’t expect that or to love it so much, but it’s a different piece to add to your wardrobe and really cool looking! I seriously wear it everywhere and it is the lightest thing ever because it’s made out of wood!
