Spring Refresh with Bealls Outlet: 5 inexpensive ways to change up your home

Every Spring, we all feel that pull to start cleaning, putting away the winter clothes, and getting your house ready for warmer weather. But do you think about the little details and colors too? Little things in home decor items can really help refresh your home, without doing a full renovation or huge alterations. Today I’m partnering with Bealls Outlet to give you a few tips and ideas on how you can refresh your home for Spring.

  1. Add flowers: We all know flowers are Spring’s biggest decoration. But if you’re like me, you aren’t crazy about real. I’m not a floral hater, just as a busy mom, they usually end up dying and smelling before I even take a chance to enjoy them. I have found beautiful fake flowers in my travels, they make them look really good these days. I am loving a metallic jar and a little hint of pink for our bedroom with these.
  2. Change out your colors with decor pillows. This is a way you can completely brighten your home and color scheme with just a few minor tweaks. I have never tried pink in our bedroom because I didn’t want Robert to feel like he had a girly bedroom. So this year, I’m adding cute Spring pillows that I found at Bealls Outlet to be a small pop of color. I like to keep our bedroom neutral with lots of whites so I can add in color with accent items.
  3. Add new accent items: This is so fun to do and something you just don’t realize gives your room a refresh until you do it. I consolidated our nightstand and added a few cute frames, then silver decor items. It’s simple and neutral so it doesn’t look too messy. I thought stacking a few books looked kind of cool to put our lamp on. Either way, these small things made a complete change to what we look at every day.
  4. Change out your hangers. You obviously don’t have to do a color like me, but having pink hangers makes me happy. And having hangers that are not all different or broken, gives my closet a more organized look.
  5. Try a white bedspread. I’m making this a bullet point because I truly believe this brightens a room. And if it gets dingy, or kids/dogs/life gets on it… just bleach it! This is another reason I love having white, because it just feels fresh and makes the room look bright. I keep a white duvet on our bed, then will sometimes have patterned sheets like stripes or plaid for fun in the winter, and I also add blankets and pillows for color.

I hope you can use these home decor tips to brighten your bedroom or home for Spring, and start getting you in the mindset for some Spring cleaning! It’s easier to love your living space if it makes us happy visually, and something so simple can uplift our spirits!
