anthro coat{ sweater: Gap | pants: Zara, similar here and I’ve seen some at H&M and Target recently, but cannot find them online | boots: old, love these | bag: Clare Vivier | horse coat: Anthro, old, love this | necklace: similar here and here }

This outfit could be considered vintage… ha not really but it’s a couple years old and I am so obsessed with it. These are one of my most favorite pair of pants! Also, I rejoiced the day (recently) that I fit into them again. When I became pregnant last year, it was very quickly that my pants stopped fitting. EVERYTHING grew. These are not stretchy either, so there was no squeezing into these babies. Then after baby, I literally could not even stick a leg into these… I’m serious, it stopped at like the knee. So one day I felt confident enough to just tryyy to see if they would slide up. They were my very last pair of pants that still did not fit at the time, I was working my way back through all my old clothes. You definitely go through a whole identity crisis and freak out when you start growing and your body changes in crazy ways that you are NOT used to. It actually was really hard to accept that at first, because along with foreign things happening, you don’t feel that great either. So when I took these out, I unfolded them slowly from my closet and it was the best feeling, I felt like myself again. That finally I could come back to all my clothes before baby.  I’m not sure how I’ve done it, but thanks to nature, NO sleep, and nursing, I am in better shape than when I started. I for sure do NOT work out (conventionally) I barely have time to eat/shower/sleep/think. But do count motherhood as the greatest workout of all time. So anyway, these pants are almost a symbolic thing to be able to adjust to this whole new life that you are handed when you become ‘mommy’. Obviously every minute I’m around Jackson is blissful, but sometimes you can get lost in the days of hustling and racing to just survive!

I got the camo pants years ago from Zara while living in NYC, but I linked a couple that I have seen recently! Also, this necklace was a gift from mom years ago, but linked an easy place to get similar. For awhile I was obsessed with gold jewelry everything, and weirdly now, I’m in a silver phase again. Or mixing metals, I do like wearing gold, silver, and bronze now, all together. So when you start stacking for an arm party, don’t be afraid to mix it up.

Thank you SO much for reading! It’s been a crazy couple weeks, where I could not find a spare second to blog, which is hard for me because that is like my ‘me’ time.

Definitely follow along on Instagram, I am continuing to grow there and would love your help!
