5 Classic Wardrobe Items that are guaranteed chic

I love wardrobe essentials posts. Mostly because as much as you can talk about classic items or staple items, it never gets old. Because you always are going to want those options of something really chic to help you look put together, and you don’t want to always… put it together. Everyone needs a pair of high-waist leggings that actually fit too.

This is where I come in! I found seriously the best items at White House Black Market. And here’s the deal. I’m working with them on an Instagram post, stories, and fun video. Which is kind of the nature of this business nowadays, that is what brands want right now in terms of deliverables. But as you know, I love my blog too. I don’t come over here and post anything though, just what I feel passionate about. So while a blog post wasn’t ‘required’ in that job, I wanted to dedicate one to that post and these items because I believe in them so much. Everything truly fit like a dream and I highly recommend all the items I’m going over. I picked them out from the whole site! And I know you will love them too. White House Black Market is a brand I’ve loved for years for its classic style, and I want to also emphasize the way the brand fits, because it caters to curves and silhouettes.

The runway high-waist leggings fit like a dream. Like better than Spanx. I dare you to try them and challenge me on this, I stand behind my opinion! Mine do not move. And now that they have new arrivals in too, I am seeing they are coming in other colors and suedes for winter, so try these too!

The v-neck blouse is the most perfect fit, slinky and movable, but so tasteful. You can’t go wrong with a tweed jacket to class up any outfit, throw it over a white tee and jeans, add flats, and you have a go-to lunch/PTA/meeting outfit. The black sweater tank is an amazing material, so thick and well made, and love this style right now. It’s perfect to wear under any jacket, and then by itself on warmer afternoons. Lastly, these boots, that can be mules or a slingback, are so chic. The chain detail is completely on trend, you will want these for this fall season!
