Dress shorts are a great alternative to skirts this summer. There are some great ones at Target and some of my favorites are at Urban Outfitters right now. You can wear them with heels, flats, chunky sweaters on a rainy day, and crop tops. This shirt is my most favorite shirt ever and I had to pay homage to it, since I try to incorporate it into any outfit that I can. If I could find this again and purchase 20 more or anything similar to it, I would. It is one of those beautiful intricate tops you find at Anthro that just looks like artwork, something so beautiful and unique. But when the price tag could buy your groceries for the next 2 months, you rethink it, pray it stays in the store long enough to go on sale, and try to forget about it. I was lucky enough that at this time, I did work there and got to closely monitor the top over months before it finally got to my purchase price. Finally, there it was, on a back rack in the sale room on the bottom floor of Chelsea Market Anthro. I bought it more than 2 years ago, still wear it all the time, and hope to be wearing it at age 80. I will always be on search for anything like it. Is there one piece of clothing you will always love, old or new?
The weekend has winded down, and who would’ve thought, my Monday morning is my unwinding relaxation moment after the weekend. Our wildman is almost 6 months, going on 2. He is so fidgety and active and wants to move, stand (while we hold him), and roll for hourssss. It seems that everything is unsafe except our arms, so needless to say, we are exhausted. Happy Monday!
