8.4.14 Last Chance for White Pants
top: Urban Outfitters (old, but Chambray is everywhere) | blazer: Zara | jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch | necklace: Versona | shoes: Target (on sale!) | watch: Michael Kors | bracelet: David Yurman | rings: F21 | clutch: Urban Outfitters (old)
This is kind of a work(y) outfit but I love fitted blazers from Zara. They always fit just right and make your arms look slender and have great detailing. And I really love chambray. And white jeans. And this is why I’m creating this post, because it is basic, but the colors and simplicity can look really good all put together. Normally, I don’t wear a thick belt and especially with jeans, but making a point to have it stand out kind of looks very equestrian and fun. My go-to jeans are: Abercrombie and Fitch and AG, both very fitting and flattering if you have extra booty. AG is absolutely worth the investment and Abercrombie believe it or not has redesigned all their jeans and they are not as low rise anymore, and are always on sale these days. My next venture are the MiH super flares.
It’s true nowadays you can wear white whenever you want… but in the South, not so much. We stick to the tradition of not wearing white (pants and shoes) after Labor day. Then you switch over to ‘winter white’. I love white so much, it’s my favorite color to wear, and lately covers baby spit up very well.
Our lives are a little crazy right now with trying to sell the townhome, daycare shopping, our daily routine with the babe and mentally preparing ourselves for solids, getting our dog walks in, realtor pop-ins, and weekend get-togethers with our friends. My posts will get more versatile and fun, as our lives hopefully will mellow out a little bit come fall. But then again, with a baby, does it ever mellow?
