A Chic Little $30 Jacket

I LOVE jackets and coats! If you’ve followed me for some time, you know this. You also know I hate summer and live for fall and winter clothing. So that would make sense as to why I love jackets. Because I love layering and really, any type of extra clothing you can add to your outfit, I am here for! When it comes to jackets and coats, I love having fun with them, and almost it being the star of the show, and then doing a safe and neutral outfit. Which is probably the opposite of the way most people think about outfitting, but that’s what I love! Obviously, because HERE is my new favorite statement coat, and you must have seen this horse coat on me for yearssss. I actually found it online HERE if you are interested, I still wear mine pretty regularly.

Today I styled the cutest blue and cream houndstooth jacket from Shein. It’s $33 and a really good find! I absolutely love it and the material is thick and quality! When it comes to Shein, I just scour the site for what I love, then I read the reviews and photos. I also look at material and then see what size the model is wearing, from there I can just tell whether it’s quality or a good fit. You really can’t beat the prices especially when it comes to really trendy items, I would prefer to just get them here! The shoes are an awesome fit and find too! My take is that I love any kind of shoe that is a pointed toe because it flatters, so if I can get a wearable heel with that, it’s a win win because it will be comfortable to wear. And these resemble the Dior ribbon slingbacks a little bit, so they are a showstopper either way! My top is a favorite from Target because of the princess sleeves and headband is blue velvet, which is actually one of my all time favorite materials and color combo! And as far as the jeans go, these are one of my favorites, I wear them all the time. They flatter and are sooo comfortable. You should try this chic/casual outfit for yourself, I would love to see!
