If you know me at all, you know I love consignment shops. And I found an amazing one, Alexis’ Suitcase! They are in the Atlanta area, but not limited to here because if you see something you like on their site, you can get it shipped to you. And following them on instagram is cool because it’s like your own newsfeed when a really good deal or item comes in!

Trust me, I LOVE new things in an unhealthy helping the economy way, but there are many reasons to shop consignment and one of them doesn’t have to be that most of your life now goes to diapers… I have shopped consignment my whole life starting when I was younger because we had to, but my mom always took me to consignment stores for the magical value that they can hold as well. Now I love stopping in. Sometimes there will even be an item I was crazy about and missed out on (ex: J.Crew pointed toe bow ballet flats), and found it there, or really wanting many designer purses/items, or finding something a little different yet still so relevant. When I lived in NYC, the consignment shops there are heaven… going in them is a little slice of magic. I always imagine the stories some of these really amazing timepieces have, like my fur coat (hate it or love it, but everyone in NY has fur), it has a women’s name inside and I imagine her to have been this glamorous Spanish woman in the 70’s. Years ago I got this amaze Givenchy grecian butter yellow dress, that I still wear to this day, for suchhh a good deal. Also, remember THIS look? That whole outfit is from Alexis’ Suitcase as well!

So the work is done, I found the perfect shop for you to stop in, peruse their Instagram, and even consign at! Alexis’ Suitcase makes sure that they only take items a couple years old (unless it’s obviously classic like Chanel or DVF, which never goes out of style), so when you go, most everything is still in style and up to date. I also consign there, I literally made $55 the other day on stuff I dropped off a month ago and was sick of and just wouldn’t wear again! Just the other day I saw some awesome Tory Burch sandals in perfect condition. Everything is organized by color (making shopping super easy and effortless, for people like me usually on a mission), and there are high designer sections of the store, a boutique section with new items, and then everything in between. If you are a fashionista that loves the ‘thrill of the hunt’ then you should swing by… if you don’t, I’ll do it for you, we can certainly have that arranged!

Shop online and get 10% off with my code: BLOG10

or if in Atlanta, visit their 3 locations in Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and John’s Creek. (I frequent all of them, call me, I’ll go with you!)signature
