At Home With Pottery Barn Kids
If you’re a parent, Pottery Barn Kids is a brand we all know and love. As a new mother, it’s always what you start out pinning, dreaming, and jot listing. For me, the brand is always true quality and my go-to for a thoughtful gift or something special for my kids’ rooms. Last Christmas, I got Jackson his favorite Thomas sheets from PBK because when they do characters, they do it in a mom approved way. HA, this means, visually appeasing for home decor so we don’t feel like we are in a funhouse, but kid approved as well! PBK has done it again as they launch their new Peanuts line, which includes everything from bedding to bath. Jackson got really into Charlie Brown with the holiday cartoons one year, and has loved Peanuts ever since.
I decided to have our photographer Hannah come and capture a peek into our life at home one day so we could show you how we are putting our new Pottery Barn Kids line to good use! I used the character sheets for Jackson’s room and finished it off with a classic checked duvet!
Since the kids are still taking over our bathroom and have not yet transitioned to their own, I still try to keep our bathroom bright and neat. I’m obsessed with these personalized stools for the kids, and PBK is known for them. This was actually an item on their Christmas list since we had one for Jackson, but not once with Elston’s name. A name step stool is also a perfect gift for grandparents or relatives because it’s something a parent just doesn’t have time to think about but it’s so cute and personal! I love that we now have matching ones that are so classy… especially if we are living with them in our own bathroom at the moment. The kids are finally old enough to climb up and brush their own teeth, which omg, is the most relieving milestone and one of those tasks you don’t realize how grateful you are to not have to do it until you don’t!
So every single night after getting ready for bed, the kids like to run up and down the hallway. Sometimes it’s not planned or intentional, they just do it, and other nights, we let them and play games with them. This could also be why no one goes to sleep earlier than 10pm in this house… but who knows. We do try to let them have this precious time because they have so much fun. Towels are usually capes and they literally just run wild on this catwalk of ours. I would love to acquire a collection of hooded towels because those are a family favorite, and these Snoopy and Woodstock ones are super thick, with padded heads.
Can you spot the floor decor that is pretty much a constant in our lives?
