Best Top EVER
If you’re not new around here, you know I gush about certain items, most of which I tell you that you have to have or that are ‘the best ever’. Every time I say it I for sure mean it, and just get so excited over clothes, which in essence is why I started this blog in the first place. And then every now and then there are pieces that come along that are special. This top is one of them, 100% worth it and so beautiful. The price point is a little higher than most tops I recommend, but this is one that you can and will have for years. Today I paired it simply with a pair of high waist skinny jeans, but will be styling it with a few things. It would go amazing with a jumpsuit (stay tuned, I have a gorgeous one coming soon!), a high waist skirt, or any color denim at all. The one thing I don’t love about huge bell sleeves, as pretty as they are, is that they aren’t entire functional. I legit tried to momlife in this top and it was a bit difficult, which a lot of what I try to do is give you functionality while still looking stylish. The bell sleeves kept getting in the way of picking up kids, wiping mouths, buckling carseats, etc. But it’s so pretty that I almost didn’t care haha. It’s just one that you file under ‘beauty is pain’ so to speak, and wear anyway.
This outfit is one for everyone because it involves all the essentials I recommend for closet staples. Bell sleeves, high waist skinny jeans (my all-time favorite are these Madewell ones), a nude pump, and this classic leopard clutch. You can shop it all below in the ‘shop the post’ slider. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend! We will be going to Burt’s pumpkin patch with the kids tomorrow morning where we will be chasing the kids around a crowded pumpkin patch as chaos ensues. Who wants to join?!?!?! But for real, it’s our family tradition, Robert and I went when we were pregnant with Jackson and have been back every year. We are going to try and avoid major crowds and get there super early, go on the hayride, and get some cute pics before everyone has a meltdown. We will then buy all the pumpkin cream cheese rolls, get a popcorn and red icee to go and drive home in pure bliss silence as the kids nap. Ahhh Fall is heaven!
