Preparing for Baby: No More Carseat Dance
We are now taking the final steps to truly prepare for a new baby. We joke how we pretty much were juuuuust out of the trenches and now we are about to jump back in. We haven’t had a true baby in the house in awhile… and with that, I got rid of a ton of stuff. Something we also never did, was invest in carseats to make our lives easier. For 4 years, Robert and I have done the carseat dance because we only had 2 total carseats. Every time we switched cars, we unbuckled, buckled, walked the carseats over to the other car… all of it. The whole carseat dance has gotten exhausting and bringing a new baby home, I was just over it. So we are now going to have a ton of carseats because of our new Britax and they will take over our life and space, but I don’t care, our life will be easier! So with that being said, here’s my Britax One4Life review!
Britax One4Life Review
In helping us add to our carseats, we are going with Britax One4Life, a trusted name and brand in the baby/kid space, because they checked off a list of things I look for as a now seasoned mom. Our new seat model is so nice, so clean… I can only hope to keep it that way. I’ve actually been picky about carseats and it sounds weird because I know a lot of parents want safety and take into account price, brand, size, etc. Safety is #1 obviously, but I also want my kids to be comfortable! They don’t need to be uncomfortable as much as we run errands, take road trips, and are in the car. They deserve to have some plush in their seats too! Our new Britax One4Life has it all, and I’m so excited to add it as an extension to our car. It’s the only 10-year carseat with Click-Tight installation, leaving no room for incorrect installation. That is a great feature to have, especially as a first time parent where it’s all somewhat foreign. There are 2-layers of side impact protection, and the seat has reclining options for comfort. These are all important features I look for!

Laws advise to secure the carseat from the back latch as well as sides. We do it all, which is why it’s been exhausting to switch cars and seats! We do the back, sides, and seatbelt through.
