Casual Chic

Dressing up doesn’t always have to mean dressing up and being uncomfortable. You can have an outfit that is appropriate for every day wear, errands, etc. and have it be comfy and so chic! This is where the ever popular (here at City Peach) oxford shirt comes into play! I love it in any form, and this one here is one of my favorites! The price is reasonable and it is so soft, I honestly want to wear it all the time! It’s oversized, so it can be tricky to have it not look sloppy… and the key to that is what you wear it with.

I decided to finish off this outfit with the perfect shoe for this season: the tassel loafer. This is so hot right now, up there with flat forms and white booties (take note!) and is exactly what you need for comfortable, casual, chic! My specific tassel loafer pair are Sebago, a brand I love, and I found a few other favorite options for you below in my ‘shop the post’ widget! Some are more masculine and I found a few that are a little more sleek! Either way, the tassel loafer is the ‘it’ shoe of this fall and it will carry you into winter! You can find them in mules or with a little bit of a heel as well. I know Jeffrey Campbell does a great tassel loafer and my Sebago ones are a true classic. Try a pair, wear them with jeans, either rolled up or skinny ankle, and it will finish off any casual outfit with the perfect dressy detail!
