Chic yet Casual Maxi

One of my favorite things to do style wise is mix high and low end as well as casual and dressy. I love a casual outfit with a dressy shoe. Or a band/graphic tee with any kind of skirt! Today I whipped out my favorite little Madewell tee and paired it with this gorgeous lilac midi skirt! I fell in love with this color and the entire skirt actually, when I saw it. I ended up waiting until there was a sitewide sale and then snagged it, which is usually how I shop. For some reason, I kept seeing darker colors with this skirt as opposed to something brighter. Although I think I would like to see a pale yellow with this lilac, or maybe even the same lilac color because you know I can’t ever pass up a monochromatic opportunity. You can of course pair anything white with it for a fun and fresh summer look.
