Cozy Fall Style

There is nothing more Fall than quilted vests and plaid. I found a new brand, Untuckit, that I’m excited to tell you about that does comfort and utility really well! Plaid can be worn from anywhere to the office or a casual weekend full of Fall activities. I styled this windowpane plaid two different ways to show you that it’s possible to take it from your basic jeans outfit to something a little dressier with a skirt. I’m also a huge component of mixing up patterns, so I wanted to show that concept somewhat subdued. I stuck to just a few colors so it wouldn’t look too overwhelming, and then topped it off with a plaid quilted vest. I love this one because it’s fitting and not completely swallowing me, giving a little bit of shape when put over so many layers. The great thing about Untuckit shirts, is that they are meant to be untucked! The edges are tailored so when worn out, don’t look sloppy. I know my husband likes to wear his plaids and oxfords untucked sometimes, and sometimes the brand doesn’t create them where it looks good. I chose a classic grey so that it can be layered under a lot of sweaters I have once the weather starts getting colder (if that ever happens in Georgia). But for now, my weekend uniforms are always a plaid, jeans, and loafers. I need to plaid to look casual but still put together enough to complete my outfit, since that’s all I’m wearing at the moment.
