DIY Embellished Sandals
I started with this Gem-tac glue, but soon realized super glue is the way to go. The gem-tac never dried, and the super glue was immediate.

sandals: Forever 21, replica of these little beauties and so much more affordable | rhinestones: um, I went on an insane search for the perfect ones at literally every store ever… so the large one is from JoAnn Fabrics, and the little ones are from Michael’s
One of this Spring’s hottest trends is the return of the embellished sandal, in many forms. I love this look obviously because it’s sparkly and shiny. I’ve been looking around for the perfect pair to add to my wardrobe this Spring, and the ones I feel in love with were $500, oops. So I decided to make my own!
I chose this style shoe because it’s perfect for Spring and Summer, ANY occasion. I will be able to wear these and still be able to carry and run after my 1-year old, step in grass and not sink, and wear to work. This heel can be dressed up in a dress, or down in jean shorts. The best part is that they were $27.00! And surprisingly they are SO comfortable, they actually fit my arch! This whole process (not the searching for actual rhinestones in brackets… bc that was awhile) took 20 minutes!
Happy crafting! xo, Mireille
