Fall 2023 Wardrobe Guide
It’s the most wonderful time of year! For me at least, the weather finally turned and I am not going back fashion wise! Fall is my favorite style season to wear but also to style other people. Which is what I’ve been doing lately too, I’ve opened up my wardrobe services again and enjoying taking on personal clients the past few months. I have also added a mini-service which involves a quick little capsule catered just to you if you’re interested!
Life has been really busy over here, but more so than ever. Robert is possibly going through his mid-life crisis and one day this Spring, just quit software. We planned accordingly for cushions like this, but it was definitely a shock to our family system, because we didn’t exactly have a plan… yet. I know that he needed it for his mental health, he wasn’t fulfilled in his career and we are both the type of people that truly live with a YOLO mentality in that we will go after what we want and take risky chances. He worked for Zoom during the pandemic and it was good to us, however, the world is changing yet again, and we didn’t see the future that we wanted in corporate America. So he took the entire summer to soul search. He honestly explored so many avenues to find the right one for him that will work for the now, but also the second half of his life. We spent a LOT of family time, and now it’s time to get after it. After a lot of hard work and perseverance, he is taking a chance in a new industry with somewhat of an entrepreneurial spin. It’s not my story to tell or the time, but this is part of what has been going on. And for now, I’m holding down the fort and family operations, which leaves less time for focus on City Peach. Thank you for sticking around as we navigate some new schedules and normals for us. Of course we all know that the only constant in life is change, and I actually love change. But one thing I’m finding that I struggle with as an adult, mother, business owner… is that there truly isn’t enough time in the day! I am always wishing for more time. For now, my time is focusing on these golden years of childhood that we have with our kids and supporting Robert’s career change. The fashion will fall in between… but that’s what it always does, and perhaps always did back before I wrote about it every day.
Let’s talk about this season’s style though, because it’s time to change over some things in our wardrobe. I will include my whole folder of things that I have saved for this season, but here’s a few things I am loving lately and great to keep in mind when needing to feel like you’ve entered a new season!
