Fashion Socks: A Quick Way to Add Life to Any Outfit

I will say that I have always always been a proponent of a sheer sock. This adds that something special to any outfit. You can wear a sheer sock with sandals, heels, sneakers, anything! What I have loved that lately within the fashion world, socks have been even more welcomed by more mainstream inspiration. Obviously with the chunky white socks made popular by Gen-Z and TikTok, it paved the way for socks to be highlighted to actually show rather than be hidden like in some years of fashion. The sock is more celebrated right now and is an important part of the look, rather than just something functional or even camouflaged to not be seen.

Caveat: Don’t get me wrong, my millennial fashion self will only feel best having a no show sock with any kind of athleisure. I suppose that is my exception. That’s just a trend that I have chosen not to hop on mainly because I like showing my ankle with leggings rather than a chunky sock cutting off my leg. This is my personal preference and there is certainly adorable looks from trendy gals that make it look so good.

Next comes my love for the sheer sock, either metallic or not, with basically any outfit at all. It brings such a cool element of chic and creativity that I love having a lot of colors on hand and if my outfit is very plain, it’s my way of kind of leaving my mark on it.
