Getting Colorful
It’s spring, so generally we are going to get colorful with our outfits. But if you are Boden, you have always been vibrant and full of color. I have a newfound love for this british brand (this is where the kids’ outfits are from, and they have adults too) and just love how it’s bright but classic. This is not where my top is from, my top is actually ASOS (a usual fave), but on sale at a great price. I actually got this top because it reminded me of a top that my mom wore in the 70’s. It wasn’t exact, but similar with stripes, a crop boxy shape, and shoulder ties. So when I saw it, I was thinking this will be perfect with a pair of high waist flare jeans. That is probably what I will wear this with on a normal basis this summer. And thank goodness cold shoulder is here, and off the shoulder is… well still here, but I just cannot deal with it. I have kids that hang. on. me. all. the. time. I would for sure flash someone, even more than I do when I nurse in public (because I’m making a point, duh). Anyway, this is the perfect top to be on trend, and still be so comfortable and easy to wear. My pants are high waist and a thick linen, from StyleWe. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this brand and will definitely shop there again.
The kids’ outfits from Boden are from the new jungle/ocean themed kids line and so adorable. Something I love about Boden is that they mix patterns and colors like crazy, and if you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I LOVE pattern mixing. Jackson loves his alligator sweater (a plus for moms that don’t love graphics, so this line is a compromise). No, I really don’t want my child to wear a huge Blaze and the Monster Machines hoodie… yes, there are way more important things in life, but I’m going to provide other cute options for them to get excited about. Jackson’s shorts are swim trunks, but loved them with that sweater for now, and will pair with just white this summer and at the pool.

Aaaaand I finally got a blog post out 80 hours later. Toddler teething is no joke. Elston has been so miserable, literally just crying and whining all day and all night. She has been waking up all night every night, so I’ve just been putting her in the bed next to me where she tosses and turns all night. When we saw one of the molars finally poke through, we were so excited only to see her whole bottom jaw swollen and white… they are coming!!!! I think I need to start drinking wine…
Don’t forget to enter the Boden giveaway on my instagram, you still have a few hours left, it ends Thursday!
