Holiday Outfitting: A Sequin Blazer

Everyone needs a sequin jacket or blazer! I say this with absolute certainty because of the versatility, and the wardrobe staple that it is for the holiday season. Don’t be limited to this time of year though, I wear mine year round! I love pairing it with jeans, a white tee, and then alternating with a pair of pumps or just flats. I found mine years ago when I lived in Charlotte and I knew it was a special piece. Whenever there was an item that I still think about from years ago that I never got, I always turn to eBay and I usually find it. HERE is my exact blazer and sooo cheap… I paid way more! If you are an XS, I would scoop that up, that price is amazing for a quality blazer! I’ve found a few other options for you, this two-toned one is so so cute! You can wear a bolero with dresses or jeans as well, and this cape can be worn for more of a dressy occasion. This animal print one is different and fun.
A skirt option for dressing up can always be a maxi skirt. I am not someone who normally wears one only because of kids right now, but I love the accordion style. This pink foiled maxi is perfect for the holidays and worn with something as simple as a white tank (another option here) or shimmery tee that you can knot on the side. This silver maxi is perfect for a winter white theme or with plaid, and this coral one is classic for any season. When it comes to shoes, I really love a chunky heeled boot, whether it is high or a shoe boot. I was inspired by an old Anthropologie catalog years ago and have been doing that ever since. I love when the skirt falls at the ankle and then the boot extends from there!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! We are attempting to go see Santa with the kids on Sunday, sooo I will let you know how that goes!
