How To Refresh Your Fall Wardrobe On A Budget
Thank you BJ’s Wholesale Club for sponsoring this post.
How do you continue to keep a relevant wardrobe but not go broke? This is a frequent question I get, and the answer is different for everyone. My answer involves planning, choosing what is important, investing in the right items, and knowing where to shop for everything, high end labels AND every day clothing. I have always told my styling clients as well as you guys, that it’s key to invest in bags and shoes. A nice bag will carry you from season to season and will always elevate whatever look you have, even if it’s sweats! A good shoe is important because you want to be comfortable, for your foot to breathe, and for it to last and not fall apart. I always believe in real leather!
There are a few items that you can keep as constants and then mix in a few new things each season. For myself, those items to mix in are usually tops, a trendy pair of jeans, and accessories. Since my family wears key items more often, I usually refresh their wardrobe with new jeans, dresses, shirts for everyone, and usually new pants for the kids, as they are majorly growing right now!
Would you believe it if I told you that a great place to get some of these items is BJ’s Wholesale Club? They carry Levi’s denim which is where I snap up an array of styles for Robert, and really great dress shirts. BJ’s is where I can dress the whole family at really great prices in whatever their personal style is. I love getting jeans and outerwear here because it’s reputable brands at a better price than you can find around town! I know you’re probably thinking, wait, isn’t this where you buy food… or gas?! Well, yes, which actually is a huge win in my book because if I’m going anywhere with two toddlers, I would rather a one-stop-shop and get everything I need in one place as much as possible! I can easily grab Robert new dress shirts for work, a new pair of jeans, head an aisle over for kids’ pajamas, and then grab our week’s groceries.
I want you guys in on the savings too, so I have a refer-a-friend link to join BJ’s today and get a $25 gift card! You can do that HERE. It’s nice to be able to fill up on gas while here (one less stop), they have the lowest prices around… and if you just want to shop from your couch one day, you can do that too at BJs.com, the BJ’s mobile app and Shop BJs.com – Pick up in Club.
You can see that our shopping trips usually involve kids, a huge car cart, hiding in the racks, and usually a lot of chaos. I usually have a hand on one of the kids since they are rarely still and a shopping outing is more fun for them… a new environment to run around in! Today we made the trip and grabbed some shirts for Robert, new Levi’s, dresses for Elston, pajamas for both kids, and fleece jackets for this winter! You’ve got to know where you can go for certain brands you love that will save you the most money. If I’m going to get the brands that BJ’s carries anyway, I would rather save money and get it all in one place. Be sure to check out the exciting selection of fall apparel for your family at BJ’s!
