How To Take Your Summer Dresses Into Fall
Are you my people? Do you strictly live for fall and are so excited to say goodbye to summer? I know I cannot talk about it enough (or maybe I do) but I am going to start the conversation. Let’s get our wardrobes ready for fall and everything good and magical in this world! Today we are going to start with a summer dress that you love and might have felt you did not get enough use out of it. My favorite thing to do when this happens is of course throw a jacket over it. A great go-to is the classic denim jacket (this one is so affordable from Old Navy) or something a little fancier like leather or suede. I cannot wait to break out my olive suede jacket that I got from the Nsale, and truly wanted to put it with this dress but I didn’t want to be too red and green. So I opted for the classic denim, and in this case, any color denim will do. Another major tip is to pair booties with your dresses. The colors I would say work the best are taupe or camel. These taupe booties of mine literally go with anything, from summer to winter, and are one of my favorite shoes I’ve ever owned. They are flattering on the leg as well. If you have a red floral dress, or any color floral dress, that you still want to get use out of, do not put it away for the year. Why? Because actually micro floral, or like a wallpaper floral design is back and not just for summer. Urban Outfitters just released their collaboration with Laura Ashley and it is everything! You can shop it here! My red floral dress is from Vici and super flattering because the back has a zipper giving it structure.
