Just Add Boots And A Blanket Scarf
A little blurry, but I thought his little face was adorable.

If you are in need of a stylish outfit this season, it can be done with two simple items: boots and a blanket scarf. Boots definitely step your look up, but make sure you do it right. Pick a pair that are in style and that will flatter you. It’s tricky because an older version might look out of style and defeat the whole point you are trying to make: to be in style in a simple and easy way. A few styles to keep in mind are over-the-knee and shoe booties. Some tips are: don’t let them hit mid calf (this does nothing for you) and stay away from slouchy ones. Right now boots of the moment are straight and rise high. This helps the leg look longer anyway. When choosing a shoe boot, try one with a chunky heel and cut outs. Some will rise above the ankle, so be careful, you don’t want to create your own cankles. If that is the case, wear a super skinny jean or one that comes right above the boot.
If you have been reading the blog for awhile, you know you don’t have to spend a lot to be in style for the season. A blanket scarf has become a staple item and not necessary to pay premium boutique prices for these. They all come from the same place. I’m all about supporting small businesses, but now that everyone has jumped on the blanket scarf train, they hike up prices. I linked an option to buy above, but really all you have to do is type blanket scarf into ebay and you will find tons of options of where to buy them for less than $15!
When styling my outfits, (or doing anything for that matter), Jackson is not far behind me. These pictures are probably only cute and funny to me, but we always joke about Jackson and his tupperwear. He never took to a blankie or certain stuff animal, but he is obsessed with his water. He will take it anywhere, and has literally cried over wanting to hold it as he falls asleep. I guess making sure he is hydrated had backfired… jokes on me. So now that we have given Elston her first baby, we say Elston has her baby and Jackson has his… tupperwear.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
I use wordpress. Thanks for stopping by!
