Kid Style With RuffleButts
Who doesn’t love matching kids outfits?! I’m always on the look out for children’s clothing and brands that have outfits match to complement each other. Long ago, I worked for RuffleButts in Charlotte, NC as my first sales job after retail. I had just come down from a whirlwind couple years in NYC and was trying to find my way. It’s kind of a crazy story because I was not the strongest sales person, because honestly my heart wasn’t there… I was dreaming of my blog and starting my passion. I only lasted a few months and moved back home to Georgia, ended up taking another sales job (ha!) to get by, and met Robert my first week there, and the rest is history. But I never forgot this company because of the founder Amber and her entrepreneurial drive. I loved her spirit and how she just started a company with a vision she had for years. I admired it at the time, and even more so now that I have adopted that mindset and work at my own blog and business. Amber is a mom of two and started RuffleButts from the ground up and I definitely love to support businesses like that, so I am so happy to share it with you. A few years ago RuffleButts made it’s debut on SharkTank, and snagged a deal that took the company down to Texas! Talk about momboss goals! The concept that started the company is the actual ‘ruffle butt’ diaper cover for little babes, and they come in so many pattern and colors! The line is expanded from everything from birthday themed outfits, to ruffled pants, tops, and a boys line, RuggedButts! Make sure you check them out, the site is so cute and fun to navigate. It makes the perfect gift for the new mom too. It’s so funny how life comes around full circle, especially as you navigate trying to do what you love… I have found that pieces just sometimes fall in place.
