Levi’s: The Brand You Want To Say Hello To… Again
A few weeks ago I had the honor of hosting an event with my local Levi’s store. We highlighted their customized denim process and how they make it easy for anyone get denim exactly how they want, in any store. Levi’s stores an awesome denim bar in the middle of the store that can distress your jeans literally however you want! They can rip holes, fray pockets, cut hemlines, honestly anything you want. Stores are also specializing in embroidery, and have someone on hand that does this specifically for the individual store. It’s such a cool experience to know you can choose what you want your denim to look like!
Let me just say that Levi’s has been one of my favorite brands I have worked with, on top of it being an incredible opportunity and brand goal. They know how to throw an event and make it successful, and because of that, the event was really upbeat and fun! We had drinks and a DJ, and the door greeters were so much fun interacting with everyone that walked by. To kick off the event, I went in the week before and was walked through the process of customizing a piece of denim. We marked the exact spots that I wanted distressing, marked where I wanted to cut the hemline, and then designed embroidery for my name. It was the coolest thing to be able to put my name (or anything you want) on a pair of jeans. They can do this for anything including the back of jean jackets! I picked the color I wanted, and we sketched out the size and location that I wanted my name added. At the Avalon location, Veronique is their tailor and the sweetest person who is so talented!
My jeans are the original 501 style, which are a classic. They were the perfect color and fit, and the material is so thick almost like old school jeans used to be! You might have seen the trend of the ‘mom jean’ lately which is almost a shapeless high rise jean, with the classic Levi’s trademark pockets. These 501s are kind of a hybrid between that and a typical pair of skinny jeans. My outfit is linked below in the ‘shop the post’, scroll down and have a look into the best event ever!
