Mommy Monday With The Babes

Happy Monday! Today on the blog it’s a Mommy Monday, which means I team up with 4 other blogger friends, and we bring you a brand that we love and want you to check out. This month we are styling scarves from Islefield, which houses effortlessly chic apparel and accessories. This scarf is SO soft and well made. If I am wearing a summer scarf, it’s either a short one on my neck, or a long one belted over an outfit. I decided to keep this one as the perfect bag accent, but I will also wear it long on each side with a dress, and then belt the entire thing. A summer scarf doesn’t have to be for a purpose like keeping warm, but for the perfect accent, like to add a color you want to  your outfit, or add some layers.

Outfit details below, one thing to point out is that this top seems unconventional on the hanger, but is just so cute. It’s silky and flows really nicely. Jeans are high rise (aka normal rise in 2017), but the stretch is minimal. The kids are wearing eden and zoe and Janie and Jack, for looks that can be dressy if you need to go somewhere presentable, but easy to play in. The eden and zoe pieces are really thick and we are loving how they match each other. My favorite colors to wear in the spring are navy and white, and I love pairing them for a sleek look, which enables you to add any kind of color if you want. Navy is dressy, white you just cannot go wrong with, and the pair keeps it light enough for warm weather!
