Mommy Monday With Mill Street Boutique

It’s Mommy Monday, where I team up with 4 of my blogger gals, and we bring you a brand, shop, or item we are loving. This month we are styling our favorite item from Mill Street Boutique. If you have been following for awhile, you know I love this boutique and think the girls that run it are awesome! This is where the sequined scarf necklace came from, the white trapeze dress, and my favorite tunic dress ever, are all from. I am styling this Show Me Your MuMu wrap skirt that is perfect for summertime. I put it together two different ways, one with a structured eyelet button down (obsessed) and then went a little boho with a graphic tee. The light blue color reminds me of the ocean and I was drawn to it as soon as I saw it. The fit is great because it’s a true wrap skirt and very fluid when wearing it, but definitely need to wear a little bit of a wedge because it will drag in the back with flats. That will be fine at the beach and when wearing it with a swimsuit in the sand, but around town, I will probably trip over it or stain it. Did you wear a wrap skirt back in the day? I love them because you can wear it high on your waist, and everyone knows I can’t pass up the opportunity to make something high waisted! But this is why, because high waist is flattering! So if you have the opportunity to make something high waist, then do it. And if you want to try the wrap skirt, hike it up and tie it high, and it will elongate your body (no matter what your body type is!).
