Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019: Top Picks

It’s time to shop! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale happens once a year, and it’s a chance to get some great deals on the next season’s items.

This sale is somewhat backwards from the way retailers usually go about marking items, in that they offer a sales price (usually around 40% off) for a limited time, then the item goes back up to full price. And since retail floor sets and seasons are typically rolled out before the next season, it’s items you don’t necessarily wear right away. The NSale will have very few summer season items, and is focusing on Fall/Winter.

I went in store and tried on what they had there and what caught my eye. I am an in person shopper anyway, so I love seeing merchandise in person, maybe that’s the retail in my blood. But it also enables me to piece together outfits in ways that I just can’t online. There are more items online, and I will list a few below, but the majority is what you can see from the IG story try-ons! I will say, this is a great sale to get shoes that wouldn’t normally be going on sale until later winter/early spring, jeans that you wear year round, statement tops, leather/suede jackets, and pajamas!
