NYFW 2018: My Chic Go-To Outfit is…

When thinking about my go-to outfit, it has seemed to be the same theme of style, in different forms. A tasteful sheer top and wide-leg pants. You know I’m a huge fan of pants or separates, so for some reason, I’m always drawn to a cute pant. I found these white culottes at Zara, and have found 2 extremely similar styles that I linked below. The reason I love white culottes is because they are crisp and can go in any season and I will always love a short pant because they will show off the shoes and ankles, making you look skinny (try it!). The top is form Zara and current as well, and love how there is a pattern to almost distract from the fact that it’s sheer. I pulled out the Buru bomber again and finished the look off with my Vivienne Hu shoes. They sent me these pumps last year after fashion week and I have worn them all year! The were a hit in THIS POST, so they prove to be great with dresses, jeans, OR dress pants. I wore this entire look to attend the Vivienne Hu show this past September which I covered on my stories and you can still find in my highlights on Instagram. The show was so beautiful and was actually written up in a few publications (Vogue, etc.) as one of the most creative and visually appealing shows this year. There was so much pattern mixing, ruffles, and soft pastels. I love how she mixes her fabrics and just puts together random things to create one piece of clothing. This is one of my favorite brands to go see and I love working with them!

This night was topped off with a ride back to my hotel from Lexus. They are an official sponsor of NYFW and the cars were sooo nice! The smelled like perfect leather and were all black interiors, riding so smoothly… which was such a nice little change from crazy stop and go cabs!
