NYFW 2018: The Must-Have Midi Skirt

I love a midi skirt and here’s why:

• it’s easier to walk in than a maxi because you never trip over it
• you can show off whatever shoes you want to wear 
• a midi-skirt looks chic with shoe boots
• they are perfect for all seasons and all weather

It’s true that they can be for any season, hot or cold. This one we are going to talk about today is the most perfect fall midi skirt I have ever seen. It has become one of my favorites. I paired it with a summer crochet sweater top but will also be putting this with a black turtleneck this winter, and possibly even an oversized crop sweater. The material is a sweater knit but lightweight that you can move freely. It actually has great movement in that it kind of swishes at the bottom when moving. The colors are a great mix of neutrals, but not too boring. This midi skirt also has a matching sweater tank that would work too. Since it’s a tank it’s great for right now, but the pairing can also be worn in the winter. All you have to do is put a white oxford shirt under the tank, and you immediately have a cold weather outfit. I didn’t get the tank at the time of purchasing this skirt as it’s a little bit of a higher price point, but I may do that and show you how versatile this pattern and outfit can be. This is the perfect skirt for work that can also be casual enough to wear on a girls’ night or hanging out with friends. Pair the black turtleneck with a sleek black bootie and you’ve got a chic date night outfit!
