NYFW: Suede Skirt And Best All-Around Sweater
Everyone needs a suede skirt, and here’s why: it’s so fall and makes an outfit really fun! It can be dressed up or down, and I kind of did both with this pairing. Any length works when trying a suede skirt for fall, there are a lot of a-line short ones like this one, but some really cute longer ones that also work if you want to try this trend. I personally love the look of a short suede skirt with over-the-knee boots! This suede skirt is from Zara (current) but I found a great option for you if you wanted to shop online (and through my link… please… PLEASE).
My sweater is a great staple sweater that you will wear now into winter, and it’s only $20! I will wear this sweater with white and regular blue jeans all winter and probably even with denim shorts and booties in the beginning of spring. This was one of the last days in New York and wanted an easy but chic outfit, and something that anyone could recreate. The concept is really just, skirt, sweater, boots. My boots are from last winter, but are still going to be great this year. And the nice thing about these, is that if I wanted to get super trendy, I could slouch them… (which is the new ‘it’ boot style – slouchy) You know, circa 2006. I’ll try it, but it definitely doesn’t exactly go with my legs, I think they will look super sleek on people with really skinny legs! So if you want to stick with just a flattering classic, the over the knee boot is still a great choice!
