NYFW: Sweater Sets
I love love love a matching set (also called co-ord). I think they always look chic and am just always drawn to them. For some reason this green sweater co-ord set stood out to me, even though this is not my (or anyone’s) color. For some reason it works, and is fun for this transition time to spring. I would actually highly recommend trying it because it’s a different color than you see everywhere, and looks good on any hair color! I also think it makes you have more color, because I’m already so pale and that would be my main concern with this color.
I paired it with my favorite Marc Fisher grey shoe boots (don’t forget you get 20% off anything on the Marc Fisher site with my code LTD542). If you’re over winter accessories, save it for their spring espadrilles, which are the best ever. A few more details on this outfit is that I always look for midi skirts, I love the look and think they create a really flattering silhouette. This sweater is also a great slouchy fit without being too bulky. This would honestly work for a maternity outfit and I would 100% wear this while pregnant. I had to wear my fur coat of course because it was freezing, but finished off the look with a little peep of sock. I am obsessed with cool socks right now as accent pieces and just want to add them to everything. I’ve found sheer in the past, and I really liked these little leopard ones, to show at the top, as opposed to wearing them with a peeptoe shoe as I’ve done before. You can shop all outfit details below! Bag and most of the designer items that I incorporate are almost always consignment. I raid the local ones as well as online… I love finding a good deal, and rarely shop for new. I like my designer items to have character (and less expensive!).
I wore this outfit before an afternoon of shows at Spring Studios. There is this tiny park corner where everyone gets photographed or goes to have their photo taken. Although it doesn’t look like it in photos, it was crowded with fashion people all over the place haha! Allie (Viva Lux) met us before Ashley and I went in and snapped a few pics and it was so fast and busy, which is funny because you would have no idea. I loved our colorful coordination, this is probably my favorite outfit of hers from this NYFW, she rocked it!
