How to Style a Free People Plaid Shirt Up and Down
I fell in love with this pink Free People plaid shirt the moment I saw it, and there are specific clothing items that I know will be special season over season… and this is one of them!
I decided to dress this plaid shirt up as well as show you a super casual styling situation, to get more than a few uses out of it. The clear belt idea came to me as I was running out the door, but was thinking a cinched waist would be a great idea, and clear wouldn’t break up the outfit as much. Also plaid and a sweater vest can get pretty bulky so you don’t want a super thick belt.
These are my favorite jeans of the moment because they are super stretchy and I love the hem. They are a bit of a kick flare, but crop in the best place. I think they are just as good for a dressed up look as they are casual.
So right now, the pink plaid is available in all sizes, which is amazing, considering when I purchased it, only one size had been left. I have a small but could definitely use an XS, as it runs oversized. My sweater vest is from Target, and for now, this color is sold out, but the cream is available! I always tell you guys to check back because things get restocked, especially when it’s so new in the season (or an item).
