Spring Style With Carter’s
This post is sponsored by Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
We are gearing up for spring time, which means planning trips, assembling cute outfits, and making sure we can get the most outfit combinations with what we have. This is important for two reasons; you don’t want their luggage to be larger than yours (since technically at my toddler ages they would prob prefer to be naked anyway) and they grow so fast, sometimes they only wear it for one season. I am all about elevating your style as a mother, the same goes for your kids. I believe if they are used to always dressing well, this will carry into how they hold themselves professionally later in life. Obviously I will give my kids freedom in picking out what they love as well, but for now, momma’s in charge I’m going to pick their outfits and they are going to be top notch styled! This is where Carter’s comes in, they have some of the best color combos and stylish options for the spring season. My children wear Carter’s in real life, as well as for any kind of photo or special occasion. It’s important that my kids, no matter what style, wear cotton and clothes that are soft and comfortable for them. I love the oxford shirts for Jackson (perfect for Easter and pairing with shorts all season), and all the colored leggings for Elston. Right now I am obsessed with the striped tops with ruffled sleeves they have for baby girls and I got Elston the cutest overalls with paint splashes! I love this little outfit because it’s completely on trend by pairing floral with stripes, and I can mix and match with other items too, so it’s usually getting 2 for 1 with all their sets. This concept alone is what you need to be thinking about because kids mess up clothes in two seconds, so if you have packed things that all go together, you aren’t stuck on vacation somewhere with baby clothes that look like a hot mess. Yes, they are probably bouncing off of restaurant booths or running around wild, but if their clothes match and outfits are cute, it’s not as bad… right?!
This weekend we got out of the suburbs and into the city… I know, we are a little backwards. We visited some friends and played bocce ball on a rooftop in Atlanta, so posh. We then ended the day visiting the grandparents and playing some more, all to make sure everyone would sleep at night!
I am so not about big graphics or characters when it comes to my kids clothing. I want it to mimic sophisticated, yet fun and comfortable. I choose items that go well together (sibling style) and that are similar to styles I wear as well. Shop their baby clothes (amazing spring colors and patterns) HERE, and shoes to top it all off, HERE. I’ve included a coupon below, so just pull this post up while shopping or type in the code if you shop online!
