Spring Styling with Sur la Table

After a few weeks of sneak peeks, I want to share this upcoming event collaboration with Emily from Born on Fifth and our spring styling with Sur la table. I hope you can get something out of this post whether it’s just getting lost in whimsical soft spring or being inspired to bring a little style into your home. I experienced both. First, if you don’t follow Emily from Born on Fifth, you definitely should. She has amazing content and literally teaches me how to decorate, set a table, think outside the box with event planning, and creates images I can only dream of. We have teamed up with Sur la table to show you how it’s possible to plan something beautiful on your own. I have seriously learned so much from working with Emily because she has an eye for innate objects (which I only do for clothes) and how to place things most appealing to the eye. She knows how to utilize props and can teach you how to best stretch your budget.
There are so many tips that we will share with you on the actual day of our event, that I have learned along the way while we have prepared. What I will be bringing to the table (no pun intended), is how to best dress as the host. This involves being fancy enough to make it special, comfortable enough to enjoy it, and strategic enough to create beautiful images. Basically look good in pictures without even trying too hard. Emily will be teaching us how to create a checklist when planning an event, where to spend and where to save money, and how to make it all picture perfect! This is all why you must come to the event!

It’s truly amazing because it’s styled in ways that I would not think to do on my own. It’s a gift to be able to put together a cheese board or tiered dessert tray to look like this and ended up so gorgeous!
