Style Has No Size: Striped Maxi and A Graphic Tee

Welcome to our passion project! This has been in the works for so long, but as a mother, blogger, and general human, we’ve been getting it together slowly. Ashley Dorough (from House of Dorough) is a stylist and former set stylist for productions around Atlanta who runs her own blog as well, focusing on plus-size fashion. Here’s why I think this is so special to us. Ashley and my own styles are very similar, but we wear it very different ways. In the blogging world, you get to know the general style that people like and I love getting inspiration from all over. But I really connect with people who’s style is close to mine which is can be all over the place, but for the most part can be described as a nod to high fashion, eclectic, and creative… hopefully, I guess that’s your call as the reader!

Ashley and I will be styling an outfit once a month (for now) and would like to eventually take it to a more frequent post basis. We both have a hand in the styled outfit we want to style for you, and choose from outfits we have as favorites, retailers we love that are all-size friendly, or things we put together as a team! And I wanted to extend an invite to you as the reader and consumer, someone who can hopefully be inspired and encouraged by this series, to give us any kind of recommendations or things you want to see! We would love to hear from you!

Today’s outfit is one we both love, a graphic tee with any kind of skirt! This striped statement maxi skirt is so fun and loud but still a vertical stripe to flatter! I like my maxi skirts knotted at the bottom and went with my versatile nikes. Ashley went for more of a rocker look with black booties, check out more details from her post here!
