The most comfortable maxi dress
dress: Ash and Rose c/o | shoes | bangles: HM Willow | clutch: Urban Outfitters, older
If you are looking for a comfortable maxi dress, this is the one for you. I have worn this to lounge around the house, to the pool, to the grocery store, to work (with a belt), and out to dinner. It is so versatile and SO soft. Another important plus is that this dress is made using Fair Trade in Nepal from organic cotton. Ash and Rose‘s main concept is ‘Ethical, Sustainable, Fashion’, and you will find each piece of clothing really special. I want to note that this dress is NOT maternity, which I kind of like because I was wearing it before I was showing, I can wear it as I grow, and will most definitely be wearing it all next year once I have the baby.
Here are a few of my favorites on the site:
animal cashmere sweater (they have a bunch of animals and colors!)
I try to find things that will work with a bump, but that I would also wear normally (they just need to be a tiny bit longer). There are a couple things (from experience now), that you just can’t avoid, and some things that are so cute and it’s your only chance to revel in the maternity wear, celebrate your bump.. so why not. Jeans, for me at least, are one of them. my legs and whole bottom half grow and I was at the point where I could not fit in any of my pants last pregnancy. It actually took me a long time, ok probably not at all, to be ok with that… so I did invest in maternity denim and then by month 7 truly lived in anything that was soft material and would stretch. Anyway, I’m really excited to ‘dress the bump’, but also find cute things any one would wear, so I hope you follow along.
Also, I found these shoes at Von Maur (my favorite place is their clearance shoe room) for $2o! They are Dolce Vita! I linked them at Dillard’s for $32 there because they are no longer on Von Maur’s site.
Don’t forget, you get 20% off your order over at Ash and Rose with my code: CityPeach15! xo, Mireille
