This Season’s Best Fall Coats

I get asked often, especially when I wear my favorites like this emerald green long coat, what I think are the best Fall coats. So let me preface and give details about this one, and then I’ll find you amazing ones that I am loving. This green one is my mom’s from when she was younger. It’s one of my most favorite items she saved for me, and I’ve been wearing it for years. It’s well made and has stood the test of time over many years.

This is an outfit from last fall, and I added this mint coat, from the Atlantic-Pacific collection last year. This year I got the blush color, although I think I want the red instead. Either way, it’s extremely well-made with a really good fit, so I knew I could trust the brand again.

The Best Fall Coats

With this outfit today, I wanted something casual but put together for fall, so I wore my favorite white demi-boot jeans from Madewell and a thin HM turtleneck, and threw on some flats. In my opinion, this is the best mom outfit because it’s functional. That’s why I think a good coat (and a long coat) is key for the cooler months. Mainly because it’s your best accessory. I found both low and high prices. But well made is important because you want to feel warm and toasty. Especially because cheap fabric does not feel good when you’re freezing. You just have to remember, that a coat is an investment. It’s worth spending money on because quality and feel is important. I included a few Shein coats that I have stumbled upon. I have a few as well and wear my teddy jacket often. But for the most part, a good coat is worth the investment!

The look of a long coat basically can make any outfit look dressy! I mean, you could be wear sweatpants under it and it will look chic somehow. So I highly recommend a long coat. But there are a few really special coats this season that I am loving, so here are my recommendations.
