This Season’s New Trend: The Chic Combat Boot

Well, this is a style I have always been afraid to try. And the combat boot has been everywhere lately! I actually have two combat boot styles sent to me by Marc Fisher and I’m really excited about them. Why? Because the bottoms are legit and I can outrun my kids! ha! I am loving the suede on them, you know how I feel about well-made shoes and real leather! Right now, you can get 25% off select styles of combat boots, and there is something for everyone. There are so many styles from a chunky heel, high ankle, or flat and a little more sleek. I paired mine with a leather pant rather than jeans, so they would look a little more dressed up. I would probably pair them with tights and a skirt to keep the dressy theme going, or lace, for a fun combo of masculine and feminine! Stay tuned for if I ever wear them with true denim and a sweater, I think that verdict is still out, but I’m having fun with them for now. I’m really want to try the high heeled black ones, maybe this weekend!?

My entire outfit is from VICI Collection, and I am loving these leather pants! The sweater is a dupe for the Free People one, and the long cardigan is so cozy. I honestly don’t know why I am always drawn to this beige color, because it does nothing for my skin tone or coloring! But it’s the color I always choose for everything. That is the only downside to this sweater, is the color, I should have gotten something darker.
