Pairing Casual Tops With Skirts
As you know, I love pairing casual tops with skirts. This lilac skirt is the perfect fit. It’s maternity, so if you’re expecting, snap it up because it’s comfortable. If you are not in this phase of life, use this style idea for any kind of high waist skirt. I love the idea of a fitted sweatshirt with something a bit more dressy. This Brooklyn sweatshirt one is a great fit from J.Crew, who does well when making graphic tees and sweatshirts that look put together and chic. I love the grey, but they also make a Brooklyn sweatshirt in kids in navy!
I also wanted to include the way I love tying a scarf these days. It’s kind of like a bow illusion, I just had to get away from the old way of blanket scarf tying from my early blogging days. So this is fun and you just loop it like tying a shoelace… just don’t pull through the second loop! This leopard scarf is older from Abercrombie, but I found a few good ones you will love.
This star denim jacket is from my Lizard Thicket try-on session at the Halcyon earlier this fall, but an oversized denim jacket is on trend right now and you can find a few out there, including at Target!
