Two Items Every Girl Needs For A Sophisticated Look

I talk a lot about items that you need in your closet, but this is because I try to think of the most efficient way to shop, as well as create investment looks that give you the best of the ‘it’ items. The pencil skirt will forever be classic and a go-to item for any occasion. Right now, a midi pencil skirt is what is in, and frankly, it is the most flattering. The higher the waist, the closer to… Coco? My favorite thing to do when wearing a snug pencil skirt, is to wear something blousey with it, like silk. This is the perfect combination and you will immediately be chic. The other item that is pure sophistication, is a statement jacket. These come in many forms, but a tweed one is probably the most classic. Obviously it’s very Chanel. I jumped at this one because it is so fun and completely goes with anything that is in right now. The shaggy fur detailing is at just the right places because the jacket still looks sleek even though it has a bunch of crazy fur. Since I love this jacket so much, I wanted to style it with jeans to show that even with the simplest outfit, a statement jacket is a perfect addition. It can immediately dress up a pair of jeans and a tank, which is one of my favorite styling tricks ever. I love a silk tank with jeans!
