Why Everyone Needs A Statement Skirt

A skirt is the most feminine piece of clothing that defines the woman’s silhouette, and honestly can look good on everyone. If you are a full-time reader of my blog, you know that I talk about the high waist skirt often and how it is for everyone. You can either wear it extremely high and have it flare out, or if you have pencil hips, then can take advantage of the pencil skirt. As everyone needs some great basics like an accordion maxi, plain lounging maxi, or a simple pencil skirt, a statement skirt spices up your wardrobe and can be a go-to item. My advice is to get a fun pattern or texture that you absolutely love and that will go with a couple tops that you already have. The gingham skirt pattern is a great go-to especially for summer and my second favorite is a classic stripe. I also am loving the shimmery accordion maxi and quite honestly, I think you need all three of these.
