Workwear: How to Style A Denim Pant Suit for the Office
I love different kinds of suiting, it’s one of my favorite styles to play with. Today I wanted to show you this denim pant suit. Mainly because the tailoring is really good. Making this a fun combo for workwear.
How to Style A Denim Pant Suit
This White House Black Market outfit is perfect if you can wear jeans/denim to work but want to elevate that dress code a bit. True to that brand’s style, they include pops of color among classic neutrals. Allowing it to really tie your look together. Then, there’s this ruffle blouse that can be worn all winter, under regular suiting; or just with a pair of high waist dress pants.
The hot pink sling backs are a shape that I really love, and they are surprisingly comfortable! Everyone needs some kind of vibrant colored shoe in their wardrobe, and I do think pink is a good one to have. This can also spice up workwear if you want to just wear neutrals or plain skinny pants and a blouse. Add a colored pump for fun! Also, you definitely don’t have to color coordinate any color anymore… this is not 1996… or 2006. I liked how the colors stood out with this hot pink against the dark denim, but don’t be afraid to add another color into the mix.
Why I love White House Black Market’s Suits
I’ve talked before about the fit of WHBM’s suits and specifically blazers, I highly recommend them. I usually go a size down in blazers and I know that can go against what we’ve been taught as far as layering, but I like a fitted blazer. Even with an oversized menswear style, I still like it to fit sung in the arm and chest area so you don’t drown in it. White House Black Market has the best choices of workwear and my favorite thing about the brand is the pops of color they offer in outfits that can be mix and matched.
Is there any kind of professional style or workwear you would like to see styled or explained? Let me know! Also, please stay close… I have a huge post coming to the blog tomorrow!
